Acceptable Use Policy
Auronys.com --- Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: 21 August 2026 • Slovak law / EU requirements
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the minimum rules for lawful, secure and responsible use of Auronys Services. It forms part of the applicable Terms and Conditions.
2. Prohibited activities
Hosting, distributing or knowingly facilitating unlawful content.
Child sexual abuse material or sexual exploitation of children.
Malware, ransomware, botnets, credential theft, phishing infrastructure or command-and-control infrastructure.
Unauthorized access, exploitation or vulnerability testing against systems the Client does not own or have permission to test.
Distributed denial-of-service attacks, traffic amplification, reflection abuse or attack-for-hire infrastructure.
Fraud, payment-card theft, credential harvesting, impersonation or other unlawful financial activity.
Copyright or trademark infringement, piracy, unauthorized distribution of licensed software or circumvention of effective technological protection measures.
Spam, mass unsolicited messaging or mail operation that materially damages network reputation.
IP spoofing, forged source addresses or unlawful or harmful manipulation of network identity.
Activity that materially degrades shared infrastructure or interferes with other customers' Services.
3. Intensive workloads
Cryptocurrency mining, proof-of-work workloads, large-scale model training and sustained hardware stress testing are permitted only where the purchased Service expressly allows them.
On shared or resource-constrained plans, intensive workloads may be restricted where they materially affect other customers or exceed advertised resource limits.
Ordinary high CPU use or technically intensive workloads are not prohibited merely because they are intensive unless the relevant Service description excludes them.
4. Reselling and third-party rights
Reselling or commercially redistributing Services is permitted only where the purchased Service or a written reseller agreement expressly permits it.
A Client reselling Services under an authorisation or reseller agreement is fully responsible for the conduct of their end users, for their compliance with the Terms and this AUP, and for handling their first-line requests. A breach by a reseller's end user is deemed a breach by the reseller.
The Client is responsible for licences for software, content, game assets and other materials it installs or makes available and must comply with applicable third-party EULAs.
5. Reporting illegal content
Anyone may report allegedly illegal content hosted in a Service to Auronys at abuse@auronys.com.
A notice should contain a sufficiently precise identification of the content (URL or other identifier), an explanation of why the content is considered illegal, the notifier's name and e-mail (except for reports concerning child sexual abuse material) and a good-faith statement as to the accuracy of the notice.
Auronys assesses notices in a timely, diligent and non-arbitrary manner. Where Auronys removes or restricts access to content, it will provide the affected Client with a statement of reasons to the extent required by law.
The point of contact under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) is abuse@auronys.com; communication is possible in Slovak and English.
6. Abuse response
Auronys may investigate credible reports of unlawful activity, security abuse, spam, copyright complaints or network attacks.
Where practicable, the Client will be given an opportunity to respond. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to prevent serious harm or comply with law.
If a Service is compromised, Auronys may temporarily restrict network access to prevent ongoing abuse. The Client remains responsible for securing its applications and credentials.
Auronys will seek proportionate measures, such as restricting a port, IP address, process, account function or affected Service, before broader termination where reasonably possible.
7. Law-enforcement and complaints
Auronys may preserve or disclose information where required by law, a valid court order, binding request from a competent authority, or otherwise permitted by law.
Auronys will not disclose personal data merely because a private third party informally demands it.
Nothing in this AUP prevents a Client from making a lawful complaint, contacting regulators or exercising statutory rights.
8. Support conduct
Threats of violence, doxxing, harassment, hate-based abuse and repeated malicious interference with staff may result in restrictions on support or community channels.
Good-faith criticism and lawful complaints are not prohibited conduct.
9. Enforcement
Depending on severity, Auronys may warn, request remediation, rate-limit, filter, isolate, suspend or terminate affected Services, subject to applicable law and contractual rights.
Where unlawful or materially abusive conduct causes reasonable and documented costs, Auronys may seek recovery of those costs to the extent permitted by law. Consumers will not be charged a prohibited or unfair penalty.
